Messages of tribute flooded on Valentine’s day to the life of a man who in many ways shaped opposition politics in Zimbabwe for almost two decades.
Dr. Morgan Richard Tsvangirai in 1999, was one of the founding leaders of the opposition party- Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and he led the party until his death.
From 2009 to 2013, he also served as the country’s Prime Minister, however he will always be remembered for his fierce rivalry with late former President Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
