Appoint A King To the Adara People As You Did At The Zazzau Emirate – John Isaac

The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) National Youth Leader Comrade John Isaac (Sir Jay) today calls on the Kaduna State Government, Nasiru Ahmed el-Rufai to do the same what he did to the people of Zazzau Emirate after the demise of HRH late Shehu Idris.

Late Shehu Idris was the 18th Emir of Zazzau to ascended the throne at the age of 39. He died on September 20, 2020, at 44 Hospital, Kaduna after a brief illness.

Isaac congratulates and felicitates with the Zazzau Emirate Council and the Governor of Kaduna State on the appointment of His Royal Highness, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.

Isaac said, “While we share in the joy of the Zazzau people over the appointment of a new Monarch, we are, however, enmeshed in deep sorrow over the denial of the people of Adara Chiefdom a king after the then Agwom, HRH late Dr. Rachael Maiwada Galadima (JP) was abducted and subsequent gruesome murdered by his abductors”.

He expressed his dismay over the attitude of the Kaduna State Government for their coldness when Agwom Adara was murdered. He said, “when the Emir died, the state government declared a 3 days mourning, but at the time when Agwom Adara was killed not a single day was set aside to mourn”. In addition, “on the day of his burial (Agwom Adara) not the Governor nor his Deputy Bala Barnabas Bantex were present at the burial”.

Isaac calls on the Kaduna State Government to use the same speed and process they applied in selecting the Emir of Zaazzau to also select a King to the people of Adara Chiefdom, as this will bring about democracy, harmony, peace, and development for the state.
